Terms and Conditions

In these terms and conditions, “we” means SW Hair Lounge (and “us” and “our” will be construed accordingly); and “you” means our customer or potential customer (and “your” will be construed accordingly).

This website provides information on the services provided by SW Hair Lounge and links to enable you to book appointments.

Images of products on our website are for illustrative purposes; actual products may differ from such images.

We will treat all your personal information that we collect in accordance with the terms of our privacy policy; use of our website will be subject to our website terms of use.

By booking an appointment at SW Hair Lounge you automatically agree to all of the Terms & Conditions listed here.

Appointments & Bookings

  • All appointments are subject to availability.
  • All appointments at SW Hair Lounge must be booked in advance. Walk-ins are accepted based on availability.
  • A 30% deposit is required to secure your appointment.
  • Deposits are non-refundable unless SW Hair Lounge considers the circumstances to be a valid emergency.
  • Deposits may be transferred to a new appointment if you provide sufficient notice (see our cancellation policy below).

Cancellations & Rescheduling

  • We require a minimum of 48 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule an appointment.
  • Cancellations made with less than 48 hours’ notice will result in the loss of your deposit.
  • No-shows will be charged 50% of the total service fee.
  • In the event of continuous no show or repeat late cancellations, the full cost of the service booked applies and a 50% deposit required for future appointments.

Late Arrivals

  • Please arrive on time for your appointment.
  • If you arrive more than 15 minutes late, we may need to cancel your appointment, and a 50% service charge will apply.
  • Late arrivals that can still be accommodated may result in a shortened service, but the full-service fee will still apply.

Payments

  • A 30% deposit is required to secure your appointment and will be deducted from your final bill. Deposits are non-refundable if you do not attend or change your appointment with less than 48 hours’ notice. Deposits can be taken over the phone, and your appointment will not be confirmed until the deposit has been paid.
  • We accept cash and card payments.
  • American Express is not accepted.
  • All services must be paid for in full on the day of your appointment.
  • Prices are subject to change without prior notice.

Consultations and patch test

  • Consultations and patch tests are required 48hrs before a colour and chemical services (unless you’ve had one with us in the last 6 months)
  • It is your responsibility to provide accurate information regarding your hair history, allergies, and sensitivities.

Adjustments

  • If you are dissatisfied with your service, please contact us within 7 days of your appointment.
  • Adjustment appointments are offered at the salon’s discretion.

Health & Safety

  • Please inform your stylist of any allergies, medical conditions, or sensitivities before your appointment.
  • SW Hair Lounge reserves the right to refuse service if we believe it may compromise your health or safety.

Personal Belongings

  • SW Hair Lounge is not responsible for the loss or damage of personal items. Please always keep your belongings with you.

Photography & Social Media

  • With your permission, we may take photos of your hair for use on SW Hair Lounge’s website and social media.
  • You may withdraw consent at any time by notifying us in writing.

Liability

  • SW Hair Lounge and its staff are not liable for allergic reactions, damage, or dissatisfaction that occurs due to misinformation provided by the client or failure to follow aftercare advice.

Privacy

  • We respect your privacy. Your personal details will only be used for appointment management and communication with you.
  • Your information will never be shared with third parties without your consent.

Changes to Terms

SW Hair Lounge reserves the right to update and amend these Terms & Conditions at any time.

The most current version will always be available in the salon and on our website.
